Historic Newfane Common, Route 30, Newfane

The 2026 County History Fair will celebrate not only Windham County’s heritage, but the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence as well.  Parade starts at 10:00.  Antique cars; Historic Re-Enactors; Exhibits by State and County Historical Societies; Blacksmithing, Musket Firing, Woodworking, Bookbinding, and Spycraft Demonstrations throughout the day,  Tours of County Courthouse and old Newfane Cemetery, Crafters, Music, Food by Vernon Creamies, and more!   Check back here on the Historical Society’s website for updates on the day’s schedule of events.
